- Our aim in this article is to mitigate the widespread ignorance, internal and external as well, relating to the intellectual activity of the Mozarabs within present-day Portuguese country. We give a series of samples about their relative Arabic learning, with carefully attention to the Arabic-Latin translations that have deserved some interest among foreigner Mediaevalists and Arabists. We take also advantage of this article to offer a comprehensive account of some fifty studies on Portuguese Mozarabism that have been edited in the last twenty five years.
